Felizitas Sudendorf

Felizitas Sudendorf was born a farmer’s daughter in a small peaceful village in Romania in the years before World War II. Helgard Press’ “A Reluctant Immigrant” is her memoir (and menu) about the journey from Romania to Skokie. Sadly, Felizitas passed away in 2013 in Skokie, Illinois, just a few months after the publication of this book.
