Jim Baumann

Jim Baumann was the executive editor of the Daily Herald, based in suburban Chicago. He also is an award-winning humor columnist and editorial writer whose Grammar Moses column ran weekly in the Daily Herald as well as in the Daily Herald Media Group’s dozens of weekly publications throughout Illinois. He attended Prospect High School and the University of Illinois before joining the newspaper staff as an intern in 1983. He retired a few years ago and now lives in Tennessee with his wife, Patt.
