I’ve been pretty busy the past few weeks promoting Father Knows Nothing via Chicagoland media. Thanks so much to everyone who had me on. I’ve done more than twenty interviews overall. Here are a few examples…
WGN Television
The WGN-TV morning show was a blast. They were friendly and really knew how to run with a bit. I thought it went off very well as we discussed tips for older dads taking care of younger kids, and public tantrum tips for parents. They’ve asked me to come back in the near future and give out tips for dealing with teens. I’ll let you know when that’s booked.
WGN Radio
I had a great time with Bill & Wendy at WGN Radio. I’ve known both of them for many years now–especially Wendy Snyder. She and I worked together at the Loop back in the 80s. If you’d like to hear that interview, they posted the first half of it on their website.
It starts out with the audio debut of the “12 Days of Teen Christmas”; my latest promotional audio for the book. There’s a video for the Twelve Days of Teen Christmas now too…
WLS Radio
I was a little worried about going on a political show, but Bruce Wolf and Dan Proft didn’t delve into politics at all with me. (Whew!) Instead they focused on the book. They were also the only radio interview I did that was recorded on video. I think it’s one of the smartest things they do. Full props to their producer Pete Zimmerman for posting this…
Of course, the tour isn’t over yet. You’ll still see and hear me around. I’ve pre-taped a few interviews that will air soon (including one with Kevin Matthews), and I’ve done three print interviews that will be posted soon.
