Sunday afternoon in Des Plaines Illinois, we staged the “Father Knows Nothing” book launch party. It was a great turnout, and we nearly sold out of books.
That’s really saying something, because the event was staged at the end of a road that had been closed for construction. People that showed up at the book signing must have really wanted to be there. One party-goer compared it to arriving at a speakeasy during Prohibition. Another said they were excited to have finally discovered the secret location of Bruce Wayne’s batcave.
Thanks to everyone who came out. It really was a fun afternoon.
