  • Chet Coppock

Chet Coppock has been broadcasting and writing about sports since he was a teenager. He was producer for the Milwaukee Bucks radio network, the sports director for WISH-TV in Indianapolis, lead sportscaster for Chicago NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV, and host of Cablevision’s NewSportsTalk, before revolutionizing sports talk radio when he launched Coppock on Sports on WMAQ Radio in the 1980s. • I bought a copy of your book and I read it…and it’s sensational. Great stories and off-camera, off-mike insights. You truly are a legend.

Summary

There are tears of joy and tears that challenge your threshold for emotional pain. Chet Coppock’s fifth book will make you smile but also leave you aching. Coppock does not compromise as he reflects on five decades of examining the psyche and frailty of linebackers, third basemen and left wings. The book is at once passionate and defiant – like Chet Coppock himself.
