The Chicago Literary Hall of Fame is holding their third annual silent auction this coming Sunday night at the Haymarket Pub & Brewery. You can get tickets here. I will be attending the fundraising event with my lovely wife. (It’s just a coincidence that I’ve been lured to appear at another brewery). NPR’s Peter Sagal will be the celebrity guest this year.
Eckhartz Press has donated several things to the silent auction this year…
*An autographed copy of “Records Truly Is My Middle Name” along with lunch with the book’s author, legendary radio personality John Records Landecker.
*A basket full of every Eckhartz Press release (“The Living Wills”, “Down at the Golden Coin”, “Cheeseland”, “The Balding Handbook”, “Recalled to Life”, “Chug-a-Chug” and “Records Truly Is My Middle Name”), autographed by the authors.
*A lunch with WGN radio personality Garry Meier.
