Eckhartz Press author (and comedian) Dobie Maxwell will be appearing at the Beverly Arts Center on August 9th to discuss his book “Monkey in the Middle”. It’s part of the BAC Book Club. Readers of the book are encouraged to attend to discuss the book.
Dobie will be interviewed on-stage by the talented Penny Golden, who always manages to bring out the best in her interview subjects. That will be followed by a Q&A session, a book discussion, and a book signing.
It’s worth the price of admission (which is zero dollars by the way), just to hear Dobie tell the incredible story of the double-bank robbery that’s at the heart of his incredible memoir.
The Beverly Arts Center is located at 2407 W. 111th Street in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago.
