When Annette Funicello passed away a few weeks ago I mentioned that John Landecker had a very soft spot in his heart for her, and even wrote about her in “Records Truly Is My Middle Name”. When he was working in Canada in the early 80s (CFTR-Toronto), he actually got a chance to talk to her on the phone.
