Bruce Bohrer is author of “Best Seat in the House: Diary of a Wrigley Field Usher”, so it’s only fitting that he would be doing a book signing at Murphy’s Bleachers, just outside Wrigley Field.
We set up shop while the Cubs-Cardinals game was still underway, and lots of friendly fans stopped by to say hello, including former Cubs pitcher Rick Sutcliffe. Lots of current and former Cubs ushers came over to get their copies of the book too. Thanks to everyone at Murphy’s (who couldn’t have been nicer), and thanks to all the Cubs (and *cough* Cardinals) fans who came out.
